People have always told Ben that he should be on the stage. This is his first production ever since he won the Best Actor's Award back in high school. Viet Nam forced Ben to enlist in the military. After receiving his Master's degree in Education from USC, he has used his talent in making countless presentations as a Financial Aid Director and Veterans Affairs Director at El Paso Community College. He continues to stand before audiences making presentations for the U.S. Department of Education, where presently he is the regional grants representative for colleges and universities. Ben plays the role of a café owner who befriends Homer. Ironically, Ben grew up in a small Mexican café run by his mother in the southwest town of El Paso, Texas. He dedicates his performance to God for all his blessings. He also dedicates it to his wife, Cathy, his children Ben Gabriel & Adriana 20's, and Rebecca 7; and his father, Benito Sr. for their love and support. Finally, he takes the stage for his mother, Amelia, whose eyes were his first spotlight and which still shines upon him from heaven.
