While playing trombone in high school band many years ago, Doug dreamed of singing and acting on stage. Many years later he found the courage to audition and was cast in a small role in Contra Costa Musical Theater's Fiddler on the Roof. Since then Doug has been singing, acting and dancing continuously. Doug's favorite roles include Elton in DLOC's The Scarlet Pimpernel, Freddie in Pleasanton Playhouse's My Fair Lady, Jacob in Pleasanton's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Drake in Woodminster's Annie and Mr. Beaver in CCCT's Narnia last spring. And Doug still plays trombone on Sundays at church.
