Rod is a member of the band, " Them Hillbilly Buzzards". Although his background in theater is somewhat limited, he is not unfamiliar with performing on stage. Rod plays regularly with two other bands, "Stringin' Along" (a Bluegrass band), and "The Scientific Jam Band" (playing science songs at elementary school assemblies). He also plays with the praise team at his church in Brentwood. Rod and his wife Kim own an office equipment dealership representing Sharp and Canon products. Rod feels blessed to be using some of the talent God gave him in the service of Christian outreach.
