It started out about ten or eleven years ago when Scott was recruited to be the lead player for a singer/songwriter named Mike Stenberg. That quickly evolved into a five-piece 50's style country bar band. Like any group, they kept changing. Their latest effort was to add a great banjo player, Glen, and form into a sort of Bluegrass band or as they prefer to think of themselves an acoustic hillbilly comedy act, "Them Hillbilly Buzzards." They do the bluegrass festival circuit and lots of fairs. All of them (except Mike, who's band it actually is!) play in other groups besides the Buzzards. Rod, the bassist, plays in two bands. Glen, the banjo player, plays in a Celtic band with a guy from England. He also runs a company called "Andrew's Banjo," which builds old-time banjos. Mike is basically a singer/songwriter and does a good deal of solo stuff as well as The Buzzards. And Scott solos for corporate receptions, dinner parties and a lot of art gallery openings.
