Valerie enjoys traveling across the country and around the world visiting her ancestors through the magic of theater. She has been to England as Catherine in Mousetrap and as Mrs French in Ravwenscroft, to Nazi Germany as Mrs. Frank in Dairy of Anne Frank (another Anne with an "e"), and even to Fairytale Land as Snow White's treacherous stepmother. She looks forward to journeying to Prince Edward Island as did her forefather as Aunt Josephine in Anne of Green Gables.
