Auditions
Actors who have come to Contra Costa Christian Theater have told us time and again what a welcoming, warm, and professional environment we have created. People of all faiths and no faith. You are welcome. People who have come to our shows have been surprised, moved, inspired and delighted. That is because we are actors. We go to the theater. We love actors. We love theater. But above all, we love God. When you are a part of a production at CCCT, on the stage or in the audience, you will always be treated with respect and love.
Because of our mission, one of our purposes is to care for each other as much as we care for producing an excellent show, glorifying God. Therefore, we (cast/crew) stand in a circle, hold hands and pray backstage before and after every rehearsal and production. We do not require that a cast or crew member ever say anything out loud in the circle prayer time. However, because we believe in the positive power of this prayer time, we do ask that you participate in it by joining in and holding hands, bowing your head and listening.
It's a Wonderful Life Auditions Information
It's a Wonderful Life is holding open auditions to cast 18 men, 13 women, 3 boys and 2 girls. The audition dates are:
Saturday September 6th 2:00-6:00 p.m.
Tuesday September 9th 7:00-10:00 p.m.
Thursday Spetember 11th 7:00-10:00 p.m.
Auditions will be held at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church:

Roles:
18 Men (ages 16-70)
13 Women (ages 16-60)
3 Boys (ages 8-13)
2 Girls (age 6-8 and age 10-13)
Audition Requirements:
One-to two minute Monologue of your choosing plus cold read from script.
Union Status: None
Pay/No Pay: No Pay

Rehearsals
Tech week will be the week of 12/9. The shows will be Friday (12/12), two shows on Saturday (12/13), one show on Sunday (12/14), one show the following Thursday (12/18), Friday (12/19), two shows Saturday (12/20), and closing on Sunday (12/21).
Rehearsals will be on most Saturdays starting the end of September, and generally one weekday night per week. The rehearsals will be productive and will not waste time.
